1. Introduction

HIMS Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("HIMS", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this website, submit a demo request or subscribe to our newsletter, and how that data is used, stored and protected.

2. Data we collect

We collect only the data needed to respond to you and improve the website:

• Contact data — name, email address, phone number and hospital name when you submit a demo or contact form.
• Usage data — pages visited, device type and approximate location via Google Analytics 4 (anonymized where possible).
• Newsletter data — email address when you subscribe to the HIMS Healthcare Brief.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to demo requests, enquiries and support questions.
• To send the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To analyze website performance and improve our content.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to third parties.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

For visitors in the European Economic Area, we process personal data under the following GDPR Article 6 bases:

• Consent — newsletter subscriptions and marketing communications.
• Legitimate interest — responding to your enquiries and improving website performance.
• Contract — where you engage us for a trial, demo or services.

5. Data sharing & processors

We share data only with service providers who help us operate, under strict data-processing agreements: email delivery (SMTP provider), analytics (Google Analytics 4) and hosting infrastructure. Patient health records entered into the HIMS platform are governed by our separate Data Processing Agreement.

6. Data retention

Demo and contact requests are retained for up to 24 months for relationship management, then deleted or anonymized. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing, at any time. To exercise any right, email privacy@hims.health. We respond within 30 days.

8. Data protection statement

HIMS is hosted on encrypted infrastructure with 256-bit TLS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access control, continuous monitoring and daily backups. We follow NABH data-security guidance and support FHIR-based interoperability standards. In the event of a data breach affecting personal data, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

This website uses only essential cookies and Google Analytics 4 (which sets first-party analytics cookies). You can disable analytics cookies via your browser or opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
